A big part of our workload is generated from our accounts and the service work affiliated with them. We also do small construction jobs for mechanical and general contractors.
Interlachen Country Club
This prestigious golf course located in Edina is constantly updating their golf course experience and clubhouse amenities. With these changes and updates, we help them with indoor and outdoor lighting, power for new equipment, pool pump room maintenance, and any other electrical needs the golf course or clubhouse needs.
Bearpath Golf and Country Club
Eden Prairie is the home of this beautiful golf course created and influenced by Jack Nicklaus. Along with other golf courses we maintain, there are always updates and new technology being integrated into the club. We set up power for events if they need, keep pool equipment running, update indoor and outdoor lighting, remodeled the bar/dining room area, and an endless amount of other little projects throughout the year.
Interplastic Corporation
Interplasctic Corporation has two locations that we currently do work in, a facility in Vadnais Heights that produces a gel coat product and a facility in Minneapolis that produces a thermoset resin product. Both of these manufacturing plants are highly automated with sensors, valves, computers, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) controls. Interplastic facilities have given us a wide range of work and made us very proficient in hazardous locations, rigid conduit piping, heat trace, PLC controls, motors, and more.
Overhead Bridge Crane- 3M
Overhead hoists and cranes is a very big part of our business and workload. We are of the very few electrical contractors in the Midwest that are thoroughly experienced with wiring, starting up, and troubleshooting overhead cranes. With that being said, our BME employees have badges to get into multiple different 3M facilities around the state and surrounding states. 3M is very particular with who they let in and who they let perform work in their facilities. If there is a new install of an overhead crane, we travel to that facility and perform the wiring because they know we do the work to their standards.
Water Gremlin
Water Gremlin is a lead manufacturing plant in White Bear Lake, you might recognize the name from the fishing sinkers they make there, along with battery terminals and other lead products. They have two buildings that neighbor each other, both consisting of the manufacturing process and research & development areas. These facilities take a large amount of power from the process of melting and die-casting the lead. Our main work here consists of disconnecting and reconnecting anything for old machines to brand new machines coming in. Over the years we have added panels, switchgear, LED lighting, new bus plugs, small remodels, large pipe runs for equipment, and others.
Control Products
This is another company where our main focus here is disconnecting and reconnecting equipment. Here they manufacture electronic temperature and humidity controls and have very specific pieces of equipment that we come in and provide power for. Along with the equipment, we have also done small remodels for them, added various panels for more power, and other service work.
People Serving People
PSP is a high rise in downtown Minneapolis that gives emergency shelter to the homeless and provides them with food and other necessities. For many years we have taken care of the electrical needs in this building and updated it as the years go by.
Mechanical Contractors
As we have mentioned before, we are largely connected with the mechanical field. Being that we are a Minneapolis Union shop, we work with some of the biggest Minneapolis Union mechanical contractors. The most common systems we wire for them include make-up air units, packaged rooftop units, boilers, cooling towers, chillers, and any other work they provide us with. This is one of our main sources of work and have become very proficient, knowledgeable, and trusted time and time again on wiring these systems.
