Bridge Cranes
- One of our unique specialties is wiring overhead bridge cranes and performing electrical maintenance on them.
- We travel throughout the Midwest to complete these projects due to the limited number of electricians experienced in crane wiring.
A Typical Job Consist Of
- putting up conductor bar along the runway so the bridge and hoist can collect its power.
- Wiring the bridge motors and the hoist itself hanging on the bridge.
- Wiring the pendant to operate the crane.
- Setting the upper and lower limits of the hook and any other electrical add-ons the crane may have.
- As each crane job may seem similar, they all differ from one another.
- Wiring a hoist on a jib crane structure.
- Wiring a hoist on a monorail.
- Wiring a hoist that is stationary that just runs the hook up and down from the pendant control.
Pendant-to-Radio Crane Control Upgrades
- A popular update we wire on existing cranes is converting from the pendant style control to a radio control so the operator can move freely around the workspace while still operating the crane.
